KAREN BAG

The Karen Bag is knitted in moss stitch from the top down in two strands of the recommended yarn. The Karen Bag is knitted together at the bottom. Along the sides of the bag, stitches are picked up and a drawstring is knitted for the leather laces.

Gauge: 17 stitches x 32 rows in moss stitch on 5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Recommended needles: Double pointed needles or circular needle 5 mm (40 cm), and circular needle 3 mm (60 cm)

Materials: 100 (150) g Cotton Light from Drops (50 g = 105 m) (knit with two strands)

2 pieces of leather cord, 1 mx 1.5 mm, recommended (or according to desired length). Mesh wire for gathering, needle and sewing thread
