Naya Slipover is knit from the top down in stockinette stitch. First, the back piece is worked, after which stitches are picked up along the cast-on edge of the back to form the shoulders, which are then joined at the front to form the front piece. The back and front are joined to form the body, which is worked in the round on a circular needle and finished with ribbing. Ribbing is also added along the neckline and armholes at the end.
Choosing a Size: The Naya Slipover should have a positive ease of 10–15 cm compared to your chest measurement. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if your chest (or the widest part of your body) measures 85 cm, you should knit size S. A sweater in size S has a bust measurement of 95 cm, giving a positive ease of 10 cm in this example.
