The Oskar Cardigan is knitted top down with raglan increases, while increases are worked at the front to create a V-neck. The body is worked back and forth on circular needles, and the sleeves are worked in the round. Finally, pick up stitches along the front edges and knit a button band in double crochet.

Choosing a size: Oskar Cardigan should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 10 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit best. For example, if you measure 100 cm around the chest (or the widest part of the body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an upper width of 108 cm and in the example mentioned will give a positive ease of movement of 8 cm.
