Silje Slipover is knitted from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is knitted back and forth, while the shoulder slope is shaped with circular needles. Then the shoulder sections are knitted, which are joined at the front to form the front piece. The front piece and back are then joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round on circular needles. Finally, knit ribbed edges in the neckline and along the armholes.
Size Selection: Silje Slipover should have a positive ease of movement of 20-25 cm in relation to your chest measurement. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 85 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A sweater in size S has an upper width of 110 cm and in the example mentioned will give a positive ease of movement of 25 cm.
