WILMA SLIPPERS

Wilma Slippers are knitted from the bottom up. First the bottom is knitted, then the sts are gathered up to the top, and finally the lining on the back of the heel and the edge around the opening are knitted. Wilma Slippers are sewn together with stockinette stitch before being washed to the correct size - (it is therefore important that you knit in wool).

Choosing a size: When choosing a size for Wilma Slippers, you should look at the washed measurements. For example, size 37 is intended for a foot with approximately 12 cm in middle width and 23 cm in length under the sole, while size 39 fits a foot with approximately 13 cm in width and 25 cm in length. The sizes continue up to 43, which is approximately 15 cm in width and 28 cm in length. Compare your foot measurements with these and choose the size that gives the best fit - remember that wool shrinks and shapes after washing.

Recommended needles: Circular needle 8 mm, or double pointed needles 8 mm
